 the wax finish may transfer onto skin or fabrics during wear, especially when new — this is normal and part of the material’s character. It will diminish with time and wear. 

 over time wherever the fabric flexes at the knees, seat, or stress points — the wax breaks down slightly and leaves a lighter mark. scratches show up the same way. You can re-wax it to restore it or just leave it to record age.

the fabric may show slight translucence when new, which typically diminishes with wear as the wax redistributes and settles further into the weave.

It may also carry a strong smell when new, which fades as the wax cures and the piece is worn in.

dirt can tend to get trapped within the wax coating rather than sitting on the surface, so build-up over time is expected and part of the material’s lived-in look.

 CARE

spot clean only, using a low-pH soap and cool water to prolong the wax coating. machine wash cold separately if you want the wax finish to become less apparent. Air dry only
